Make sure you’re checking in with your student’s progress often on Google Classroom. Let’s finish Marking Period #3 off strong!
When your student is absent, please provide a note so we are able to correctly document their attendance. Please provide the note to the Main Office (via your student's first period teacher) or email it to Ms. Santa (sberihuete@schools.nyc.gov) and Mr. Crouthamel (jcrouthamel2@schools.nyc.gov).

• Student is physically present in the classroom / school learning environment for instruction during the scheduled school day

• Student is virtually present in a remote learning environment for synchronous instruction during the scheduled school day. |
Daily attendance must be logged in the Attendance Tracker. Schools may maintain period attendance, in their own systems (i.e. LMS, google classroom, etc.), but will be expected to determine which periods/courses are to be used for daily attendance for upload into STARS Classroom. |
